Case study
Chocolatemakers
Chocolatemakers already had the evidence behind its chocolate: direct trade cacao, transparent sourcing and real relationships at origin. The problem? Buyers and consumers couldn't see it. OFC turned that existing data into verifiable product passports, with no IT efforts required.
The Challenge
The proof existed, but it was scattered across emails, certificates and spreadsheets. Buyers wanted substantiation, new rules like EUDR and EmpCo raised the bar, and Chocolatemakers' focused teams had no time for another IT project. They needed their existing data to work harder.
What we did
No integration, no new systems. Chocolatemakers connected the records they already had. Each public claim was linked to its evidence and scope, then validated by 3rd parties and published as a product passport behind one QR on the bar: the journey, the proof, the story.
